Haría Cycling Club is to be built at the edge of Haría town on the GR-131 to Máguez.
The house looks out over the valley on the Arrieta side of Haría and down to the sea.
Planning restrictions in the area are very strict and it took several iterations to get to a design that worked for and complied with the various local regulations (and their interpretation!).

The property is on a steep hill with living accommodation divided in three zones; two bedrooms at the rear of the property, an apartment on the second level of the middle of the house, with a further two bedrooms and a gym area below that.
A key feature in the design is sustainability and the solar panels on the roof of the rear zone will ensure we end up with a carbon-negative project.

A lot of thought has been put into how we can take advantage of the location and its geography.
The rooms at the front of the house capture the morning sun, the al fresco living areas are protected from the prevailing wind (from the North), and the back of the property looks out on the famous Haría switchbacks with the sun setting over the cliffs to the right.

At the front of the al fresco communal space is the pool.
Designed to have a shallow area at the entrance, at the front of the pool the plan is that there will be enough width and depth to some short lengths (or stand in the cool water sipping a drink and enjoying the view down to the sea).
